Phillip Montessori was born in 1962 in Manhattan, New York, N.Y., 
the only child of Rolando and Anna Montessori. He is the first one in the family born in the U.S.A., and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He founded the Montessori Corporation in 1996 to make the authentic Montessori method available to as many children as possible. It was Maria Montessori's dream to make her method available to all children everywhere. Although there are 13,000 Montessori schools around the world, that is still far from reaching all children everywhere. There are millions of parents around the world who do not live near a Montessori School and many who cannot afford   the cost of tuition. That is why we are making it possible for those parents to give their children a learning experience which they never had before.

  The Montessori Corporation produces products for parents to teach the authentic Montessori method of education in their own home, or for teachers 
to use in a classroom setting. These products will allow them to give their children or students a great head start in their education process . We are also creating products for special needs children, geared to maximize their learning potential. Giving all children the oppertunity of obtaining a quality education and having a better chance of living a more productive and prosperous life!
