is the only method of education that has been time tested and proven successful in giving children a great headstart in their learning process. During the course of her lifetime Maria Montessori's innovative educational method received praise and acclaim from such notable historic figures as Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, Sigmund Freud, Bertrand Russell, Mahatma Gandhi, Helen Keller, and Anne Sullivan. She was nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize. She was also one of the first woman doctors in Italy.
The Montessori Corporation was founded in 1996 by Phillip Montessori great grandson of Maria Montessori. In 1997 he formed a separate entity called Educorp in Naples, Florida and put together a team of AMI certified teachers each one with over 25 years of experience teaching the Montessori method, and created the Montessori Educational Video Series, copyright 1997 for use in home education or classroom settings. We also advocate and support all AMI certified Montessori
schools around the world.
