Founded in 2011, the Montessori Missionary Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to reaching and educating children
in third world countries and impoverished areas around the globe, including children with special needs.

In 1907 Maria Montessori began teaching underprivileged and special needs children in the slums of Rome, Italy for little or no money. In 1913 she assisted Anne Sullivan with Helen Keller because she believed that special needs children have a productive place in society.

We are currently searching for AMI or AMS certified teachers
or anyone else interested in the advancement of education, and
and assisting in the mission of making the Montessori method available to all children everywhere. In an effort to give them
a better chance of living a more productive and prosperous life!
